For over 13 years POOF DOOF’s Halloqween party is one of our major events in the queer party calendar alongside Mardi Gras – it’s our ‘Gay Christmas’! Starting off as our annual costume extravaganza-come dirty disco in Melbourne at The Bottom End, Halloqween has also been hosted at The Forum in Melbourne, ivy in Sydney and is now annually at Chasers and at ARQ by Home.
Halloqween sees Doofers come from across the country in their wildly elaborate (and barely-there!) costumes to rave until dawn showing their creativity in their looks year after year. Halloqween has seen many international and national headliners perform including Horse Meat Disco, Jodie Harsh, Sneaky Sound System, Denali, Yolanda Be Cool, K.I.M., Hot Dub Time Machine, Starfvckers, Touch Senstive, Kita Mean, Yuri, Spankie Jackzon and more!
